The Eighth Beef package is a popular starter package for those who've never bought beef before. But warning! Most of our customers say they wish they had ordered more! With this package, you will have your own little grocery store "freezer" section right at home. This option requires about 2 cubic feet of freezer space.
Approximately:
- 25% steaks: possible cuts may include rib steaks, T-bones, sirloins, tri-tip, top rounds, chuck steaks, flank/skirt steaks, & cutlets
- 35% savory cuts & roasts: possible cuts may include chuck/sirloin tip/arm/rump roasts, brisket, short ribs, soup bones & stew meat
- 40% premium ground beef
*Each cow yields different quantities and weights of cuts. Cuts included may vary slightly.

How it works: Reserve your 1/8 Beef Share today. You can choose to pay a deposit or pay balance in full. Once your beef is ready, if a balance still owed, we will send you an invoice to collect the rest of the payment. We will ship it frozen your door in one big box. It is very important to place in freezer once it is delivered to prevent thawing.
Receiving Your Beef:
- If you choose to ship nationwide, your order will be shipped out after you've been notified.
- If you would like local pick-up in Lorena, please email us at info@meadowsbeef.com and we will reach out to coordinate
- Your beef will come in approximately 1 easy-to-handle box.
- We ship orders on Mondays and Tuesday with an estimated delivery date to your front door within 1–3 days. Once we create the shipping label, you'll receive a Fed Ex tracking number via email to track your order anytime.
- Our meat is vacuum sealed, frozen, and shipped with plenty foam ice bricks or dry ice in thermabags and insulated cardboard boxes.
- You do not need to be home for the delivery. Signature is not required, and your meat will stay nice and cold until you're able to transfer it to the freezer later the same day.
